PARP-1 inhibitor AG014699 (… in-HIH-bih-ter …)

  A substance being studied in the treatment of some types of cancer. It blocks enzymes that repair DNA damage caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy. PARP-1 inhibitor AG014699 is a type of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor. Also called AG014699.
