PDQ®
Physician Data Query (PDQ®) is NCI's comprehensive cancer database. It contains peer-reviewed summaries on cancer treatment, screening, prevention, genetics, supportive care, and complementary and alternative medicine; a registry of approximately 2,000 open and 13,500 closed cancer clinical trials from around the world; and directories of physicians, professionals who provide genetics services, and organizations that provide cancer care.
PDQ® Cancer Information Summaries
The PDQ® cancer information summaries are peer reviewed and updated regularly by editorial boards. The PDQ® Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine
Editorial Board consists of experts in the fields
of oncology, pharmacology, natural products,
drug discovery and development, traditional
Chinese medicine,
acupuncture, and homeopathy. The Board
also contains representatives from the cancer
patient community.
This Editorial Board meets quarterly to
write and update information summaries on complementary

alternative therapies for cancer.
