EPEC™-O Materials for Trainers
EPEC™-O was originally developed as a train-the-trainer curriculum. The materials provided in this section are meant to aid those who will be presenting materials at in-person trainings.
The Guide for Trainers (PDF - 112KB) covers the steps for preparing an interactive learning experience. The Guide for Trainers provides a blueprint for EPEC-O instructors to follow when giving in-person presentations. Recommendations for effective adult learning techniques and ways to increase interaction with the audience are suggested.
These can be used if the format is a “train-the-trainer” experience, or can be used as resource material for new trainers.
Self-Assessment Questions with answers and explanations for both the Original Version and Cultural Considerations When Caring for African Americans are provided for faculty who wish to use them.
A sample Conference Evaluation (Word - 44KB) for either the Original Version or Cultural Considerations When Caring for African Americans is provided for use at in-person trainings.
Participants at in-person trainings should also be directed to the appropriate Self-Study section to augment material presented at the conference, and to use as resource materials.
