Radiation Therapy	External beam radiation therapy itself does not cause pain, but over time it can cause side effects that cause discomfort. Medications can help with discomfort or pain. For seed implants, men may pass urine more often, notice a slower stream, or feel some pain. Medicine can help treat these symptoms.
