Bone Cancer - Featured Clinical Trials

The following list shows Featured Clinical Trials for a specific type of cancer. You may also want to view:

1.  Testing Trabectedin in Pediatric Patients 5
(Posted: 06/30/2009) - In this phase I clinical trial, children with solid tumors that have either recurred or have not responded to previous treatment will be treated with trabectedin.

2.  Studying Dyskeratosis Congenita 6
(Posted: 07/11/2006) - Persons with a rare disorder called dyskeratosis congenita (DC) tend to have a high risk of developing bone marrow failure, leukemia, or certain carcinomas. NCI is undertaking an intensive assessment of families with DC to learn more about how genes associated with it lead to cancer development and to identify new susceptibility genes for DC.

3.  Study of Cancer Susceptibility Among Patients with Inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes 7
(Posted: 06/29/2004) - Persons with inherited bone marrow failure syndromes (IBMFS) tend to have a very high risk of developing certain cancers. Researchers are assembling a study population that includes IBMFS patients and their family members.

4.  Familial Chordoma Study 8
(Posted: 05/11/2004) - Some people may be genetically predisposed to develop chordoma, a rare bone tumor. Because genetic or hereditary risk factors for chordoma may exist, scientists are searching for genes involved in the development of this tumor.
