Pancreatic Cancer - Featured Clinical Trials
The following list shows Featured Clinical Trials for a specific type of cancer. You may also want to view:
6. Targeted Combination Therapy for Advanced Solid Tumors (Posted: 07/19/2005) - In this study, researchers are assessing the safety and combined effectiveness of bevacizumab and a second drug called sorafenib. Both bevacizumab and sorafenib inhibit the formation of blood vessels to tumors and may act synergistically when combined.

7. Immunotoxin Therapy for Advanced Solid Tumors (Posted: 09/21/2004) - Researchers with this trial will test the safety of a new drug called SS1(dsFv)-PE38 (SS1P) in patients who have advanced mesothelin-expressing cancers.

8. Combination Biological and Chemotherapy for Advanced Pancreatic Cancer (Posted: 07/13/2004) - The chemotherapy drug gemcitabine (Gemzar®) is a commonly used treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer, but its benefits are minimal. Researchers with this trial hope that adding cetuximab (Erbitux®), a monoclonal antibody, to gemcitabine will result in an improved response.
