Cisplatin Plus Gemcitabine Improves Survival of Patients with Advanced Biliary Tract Cancer
(Posted: 05/11/2010) - Compared with gemcitabine (Gemzar®) alone, the chemotherapy combination of cisplatin (Platinol®) and gemcitabine improved overall survival of patients with locally advanced or metastatic biliary tract cancers, according to a study published April 10, 2010, in the New England Journal of Medicine.
