BIO Innovation Zone, Booth 5449

The 2014 BIO International Convention will feature 50+ early-stage biotech companies funded through the NIH and the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The SBIR/STTR programs provide U.S. federal funding to small businesses engaged in Research/R&D with the potential for commercialization. Companies are rigorously vetted through the NIH and NSF peer review processes prior to receiving funding. The Innovation Zone companies, focused on drug discovery, diagnostics and other platform technologies, will have dedicated exhibit space and participate in BIO’s One-on-One Partnering™ system. Select companies featured in the Zone will tell their story in a special track of company presentations. Visit the Innovation Zone at Booth 5449 in the BIO Exhibition to see cutting-edge technology supported by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
