Alternate Title Study of Vaginal Length, Elasticity, Lubrication, and Sexual Function in Patients With Stage IB2 Cervical Cancer
Trial Description Vaginal changes that may effect sexual function occur in patients undergoing treatment for cervical cancer. Clinical trial to determine the type of vaginal changes such as vaginal dryness that occur in patients receiving treatment for cervical cancer and the effect these changes have on sexual function. Eligibility criteria include the following:
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will undergo a pelvic exam to determine the size of the vagina. Patients will then complete questionnaires over a 2-year period about vaginal dryness and sexual activity, response, and satisfaction. Pelvic exams will be repeated periodically for 2 years.
