Alternate Title Molecular Biology of Pediatric Brain Tumors
Trial Description Analyzing the number and structure of genes found in a child's cancer cells may help doctors improve methods of diagnosing and treating children with brain tumors. This clinical trial is studying the number and structure of genes in cancer cells of children with brain tumors. Eligibility criteria include the following:
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Tissue samples obtained from patients' brain tumor cells will undergo gene testing in the laboratory. Patients will not receive the results of the genetic testing and the results will not influence the type or duration of treatment.
