Alternate Title Study of Molecular Genetic Lesions and Clinical Outcomes in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Trial Description The identification of gene mutations may allow doctors to better determine the prognosis of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This clinical trial is studying gene mutations to see if they are related to prognosis of cancer in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Eligibility criteria include the following:
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will have bone marrow samples collected and analyzed for specific genetic mutations. Patients will be followed for at least 3 years. Patients will not receive the results from genetic testing. Results will not influence a patient's treatment on the clinical trial.
