Trial Description

Purpose:

Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.

Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of dactinomycin in treating patients who have persistent or recurrent gestational trophoblastic neoplasia.

Eligibility:

Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial.

Treatment/Intervention:

Patients will receive an infusion of dactinomycin once every 2 weeks for as long as benefit is shown. Patients will be evaluated every 2 weeks for 2 months and once a month for 10 months.
