Trial Description

Purpose:

Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of inhaled doxorubicin in treating patients who have primary lung cancer or lung metastases.

Eligibility:

Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial.

Treatment/Intervention:

Patients will inhale doxorubicin every 3 weeks for up to three courses. Patients may receive additional treatment after a 3-month waiting period. Patients will be evaluated at 6 weeks.
