Alternate Title Phase I/II Study of Radiofrequency Ablation in Patients With Bone Metastases
Trial Description Radiofrequency ablation may be effective in decreasing pain from bone metastases. Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of radiofrequency ablation in decreasing pain in patients who have bone metastases. Eligibility criteria include the following:
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will undergo radiofrequency ablation directly to the metastatic bone lesion. The degree of pain and mood will be evaluated periodically. Patients will be evaluated at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months.
