Alternate Title Phase II Study of Bortezomib in Patients With Advanced or Metastatic Sarcoma
Trial Description Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth. Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of bortezomib in treating patients who have advanced or metastatic sarcoma.
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will receive an infusion of bortezomib twice a week for 2 weeks. Treatment may be repeated every 3 weeks for as long as benefit is shown. Patients will be evaluated every 3 months for 1 year.
