Alternate Title Phase II Study of Theophylline in Asymptomatic Patients With Stage 0, I, or II B-cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Previously Untreated With Chemotherapy (Summary Last Modified 04/2000)
Trial Description Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of theophylline in treating patients who have in situ, stage I, or stage II chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will receive theophylline by mouth once a day for up to 6 months.
