Or Novavax primary dose 1 followed in 3 weeks by primary dose 2 followed in at least 2 months by a booster of a bivalent mRNA vaccine that targets the Omicron variant. Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine should only be used in certain limited situations. People ages 18 years and older who receive Janssen (J&J) vaccine for their primary series dose should follow it in 4 weeks by an additional dose of an mRNA vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech) followed in at least 2 months by a booster of a bivalent vaccine that targets the Omicron variant. Monoclonal antibodies (Evusheld) for COVID-19 pre-exposure prophylaxis People ages 12 years and older must weigh at least 40 kg to be eligible for Evusheld. Wait at least 2 weeks after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine dose (either primary or booster) before receiving a dose of Evusheld. A dose of Evusheld may be given every 6 months. There is no minimum interval from Evusheld to COVID-19 vaccine. In other words, after receiving a dose of Evusheld, you don’t have to wait any length of time before receiving a subsequent COVID-19 vaccine dose. You should wait at least 2 weeks after any subsequent COVID-19 vaccine dose before receiving a dose of Evusheld.
