During AACR’s 2017 Annual Meeting there are different session types in which NCI staff will speak.

  • NCI-Sponsored Sessions are all led by NCI staff and will present information about NCI programs. NCI-Sponsored Sessions at AACR are not scientific sessions where research studies and data are presented. Instead, these sessions are informative in nature and provide details on NCI’s priorities, programs, funding opportunities, resources, and guidance. NCI staff also participate in annual sessions led by multiple NIH institutes.
  • Other Sessions with NCI Staff Participants are traditional data-driven oral presentations as well as major and minisymposiums, awards and lectures, meet and greets, plenary sessions, poster sessions, and special sessions. The most current session and presentation information is available through the AACR Online Proceedings/Itinerary Planner. Users can browse and search all presentations on the Annual Meeting program (including those featuring National Cancer Institute participants) and select results to create a personal schedule for the meeting.
The daily schedule for NCI at AACR will be updated as information become available. Please note that all times are listed in local Washington, D.C. time (EST).
