A drug used alone or with cisplatin to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is locally advanced or has spread to other parts of the body. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Navelbine blocks cell growth by stopping cell division and may cause cancer cells to die. It is a type of vinca alkaloid and a type of antimitotic agent. Also called vinorelbine tartrate.
