CCDI Molecular Characterization Initiative Infographic
The Molecular Characterization Initiative (MCI) offers an analysis of the DNA and RNA of childhood cancer tumors, with results given to participants and their doctors. Results will help plan treatment and data will be shared with researchers to help develop childhood cancer treatments.
MCI is currently open to children, adolescents, and young adults with newly diagnosed central nervous system tumors receiving care at Children’s Oncology Group–affiliated hospitals, with plans to expand.
