bone marrow cancer  listen  (bone MAYR-oh KAN-ser)

  Cancer that forms in the blood-forming stem cells of the bone marrow (soft sponge-like tissue in the center of most bones). Bone marrow cancer includes leukemias and multiple myeloma.
