NCI Dictionary of Cancer Terms
The search textbox has an autosuggest feature. When you enter three or more characters, a list of up to 10 suggestions will popup under the textbox. Use the arrow keys to move through the suggestions. To select a suggestion, hit the enter key. Using the escape key closes the listbox and puts you back at the textbox. stage III kidney cancer (... KID-nee KAN-ser)
(1) The tumor is any size and cancer is found only in the kidney and in 1 or more nearby lymph nodes; or (2) cancer is found in the main blood vessels of the kidney or in the layer of fatty tissue around the kidney. Cancer may be found in 1 or more nearby lymph nodes. Also called stage III renal cell cancer.
