Alternate Title Phase II Study of Tretinoin Liposome in Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Hodgkin's Disease (Summary Last Modified 11/2001)
Trial Description Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of liposomal tretinoin in treating patients who have recurrent or refractory Hodgkin's disease.
Final eligibility for a clinical trial is determined by the health professionals conducting the trial. Patients will receive an infusion of liposomal tretinoin every other day for 4 weeks. Treatment may continue for up to six courses. Some patients may undergo stem cell or bone marrow transplant after receiving at least two courses of tretinoin.
