Hannah Newton, Ph.D.

Dr. Newton is a Scientist in the immunology section of the Nanotechnology Characterization Laboratory. She assists in the development and validation of immunological assays to assess effects of nanotechnology on cellular function.

Hannah received her Ph.D. in pathobiology and molecular medicine from the University of Cincinnati in 2020. Her dissertation research focused on understanding the effects of immunotherapy on ion channels in T cells of head and neck cancer patients and developing targeted liposomes to overcome immune suppression in cancer.
