Treatment of recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer may include the following:

• Chemotherapy using one or more anticancer drugs, with or without surgery.
• Surgery as palliative treatment, to relieve symptoms, such as a blocked bowel, and improve the quality of life.
• A clinical trial of biologic therapy alone or combined with anticancer drugs.
