Gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE PET/CT in Diagnosing Patients with Primary or Metastatic Gastrointestinal or Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Trial Status: complete

This phase II trial studies how well gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) can diagnose patients with gastrointestinal or pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors that are original (primary) or have spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Diagnostic procedures, such as gallium Ga 68-DOTATATE PET/CT, may help find and diagnose neuroendocrine tumors, find out how far the disease has spread, and allow doctors to plan better treatment.
