This clinical trial studies the side effects of stool transplant in treating Clostridium (C.) difficile infection that has come back or does not respond to treatment in patients with solid tumors. Stool transplant may help to improve diarrhea and cure C. difficile in patients with solid tumors.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
I. Safety of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in patients with solid organ malignancy.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES:
I. Recurrence of C. difficile-associated diarrhea.
OUTLINE:
Patients receive vancomycin and undergo bowel lavage. Patients then undergo FMT via gastroscopy or colonoscopy.
After completion of study treatment, patients are followed up at 24 hours, 1, 2, and 4 weeks, and 6 months.
