Intralesional Influenza Vaccine for the Treatment of Stage I-III and IV Melanoma

Trial Status: active

This phase I trial investigates the effects of influenza vaccine in treating patients with stage I-III and IV melanoma. Influenza vaccine provides immunization against the influenza virus, thereby protecting against influenza infection. Giving influenza vaccine into the tumor (intralesional) may decrease the size of the melanoma tumor or the extent of the cancer in the body.
