Implantable Microdevice for Evaluating Drug Responses in Stage III-IV Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, and Peritoneal Cancer

Trial Status: active

This early phase I trial studies the side effects and feasibility of an implantable microdevice for evaluating drug responses in stage III-IV ovarian, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer. The microdevice is placed (implanted) into a tumor where it releases tiny micro-doses of drugs into a small area of surrounding cancer tissue. The information learned may provide more information that could help people in the future.
