This study is being done to study blood samples and compare them to other patient biospecimens and clinical outcomes. Researchers hope this will give them new understandings of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers that can lead to better biomarkers and treatment strategies. Biomarkers are various molecules that can tell researchers about normal or abnormal processes taking place in your body. Some examples of biomarkers are DNA (genes), proteins, or hormones. Learning about cancer biomarkers may help researchers to find a treatment that can help target the cancer to help treat patients.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
I. Identify and understand blood-based signatures that are prognostic for progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with melanoma or non-melanoma* skin cancer based on clinical, radiographic, or laboratory findings.
II. Identify and understand blood-based signatures that are prognostic for overall survival (OS) in patients with melanoma or non-melanoma* skin cancer based on clinical, radiographic, or laboratory findings.
III. Identify and understand blood-based signatures that predict treatment response and resistance in patients
with melanoma or non-melanoma* skin cancer.
IV. Identify and understand blood-based signatures that monitor response during treatment in patients with
melanoma or non-melanoma* skin cancer.
V. Identify and understand blood-based signatures that can monitor for disease recurrence in patients with
melanoma or non-melanoma* skin cancer.
*Non-melanoma skin cancers include: basal cell carcinoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, and Merkel
cell carcinoma.
OUTLINE: This is an observational study.
Patients undergo blood collection prior to standard of care systemic cancer treatment throughout the study and have their medical records reviewed.
