PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
I. Determine how the distensibility of the distal esophagus is impacted by a course of ablative therapy.
II. Determine how mucosal permeability, as measured by mucosal impedance, changes over the course of ablative therapy.
OUTLINE: This is an observational study.
Patients undergo measurement of esophageal flexibility/elasticity and mucosal impedance using EndoFLIP and MiVU during upper endoscopy and complete questionnaires on study.
