MRI Guided Focal Laser Ablation in Treating Participants with Localized Prostate Cancer
Trial Status: administratively complete
This phase II trial studies the side effects of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) guided focal laser ablation and to see how well it works in treating participants with prostate cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body. MRI guided focal laser ablation uses laser fibers under MRI guidance to burn and kill tumors, and may help to improve urinary and rectal continence and erectile function in participants with prostate cancer.
