This clinical trial examines colon cancer education in screening for high-risk colon cancer. This study may help researchers provide educational materials and information regarding colorectal cancer and colorectal cancer screening.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
I. To implement Community Health Educator (CHE)-directed quarterly colorectal cancer (CRC) educational activities to a minimum of 300 community members (100 total) aged 45-75 years.
II. Referral for fecal immunochemical test (FIT) kit/colonoscopy screening to educational attendees and provide linkages to care after abnormal FIT/colonoscopy screening.
III. To conduct outcome evaluation of the CRC education using quantitative and qualitative assessments.
OUTLINE:
Participants complete educational session over 45 minutes to 1 hour. Participants also complete surveys over 10-15 minutes pre- and post-educational session and at 3 or 6 months. Participants who meet the eligibility criteria to receive a FIT kit/coloscopy screening will also undergo fecal specimen collection or coloscopy.
