Behavioral Relaxation Approaches for the Treatment of Insomnia in Lung Cancer Patients

Trial Status: withdrawn

This clinical trial tests whether behavioral relaxation approaches (assisted relaxation therapy and guided compassion meditation) work to reduce insomnia in lung cancer patients. Assisted relaxation therapy may improve insomnia and sleep quality. Behavioral interventions use techniques to help patients change the way they react to environmental triggers that may cause a negative reaction. Assisted relaxation therapy and guided compassion meditation may help effectively improve sleep disturbances.
