External Beam Radiation Therapy with Pembrolizumab for the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, RADVAX Study

Trial Status: closed to accrual

This phase II trial tests the use of external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) in combination with pembrolizumab (radioimmunotherapy) in the treatment of patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Radiation therapy uses high energy rays to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Radioimmunotherapy may improve the overall effects of pembrolizumab in killing cancer cells.
