Toolkit (Engaged Approach to Lung Cancer Screening) for the Support of Lung Cancer Screening Programs
This clinical trial test how well Engaged Approach to Lung Cancer Screening (EA-LCS) works to improve lung cancer screening programs. Lung cancer is the single greatest cause of cancer deaths in the United States due to diagnosis being made at a later stage. Late stage lung cancer is more difficult to treat. Screening may help doctors find lung cancer sooner when it may be easier to treat. EA-LCS is an internet based framework aimed at providing a person-centered approach to lung cancer screening. EA-LCS offers materials that include education, training and support tools for the provider and the patient. Using EA-LCS may help lung cancer screening programs improve patient participation and increase the numbers of lung cancer found at an earlier stage.
