Developing and Evaluating a Culturally Tailored Yoga Therapy Program for Cancer Patients Undergoing Stem Cell Transplantation in India, Tanzania, and United States

Trial Status: active

This clinical trial develops and evaluates a yoga program for patients undergoing stem cell transplant in India, Tanzania, and United States. Yoga combines gentle movements, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and meditation all tailored to the participant’s needs. Yoga has no connection to a specific religion or spiritual practice and is intended to align with each person’s personal belief system. Culturally adapted Yoga may improve quality of life in cancer patients undergoing stem cell transplantation.
