Development and Evaluation of a Targeted Navigation Intervention to Increase Access to Care, Patient Engagement and Research Participation in Patients with Liver Cancer

Trial Status: active

This clinical trial develops and tests how well a targeted navigation intervention works to increase access to care, patient engagement and research participation in patients with liver cancer. There are significant treatment and survival disparities in liver cancer patients; many lack social support and financial resources. The development and implementation of targeted navigation may increase researchers understanding of patient needs and barriers to accessing care, the proportion of patients linked to care for cancer treatment and the proportion of minorities, specifically Black patients, who enroll in clinical research.
