The high out-of-pocket costs associated with trial participation drive underrepresentation of economically vulnerable women with breast cancer in clinical trials and could worsen existing unequal clinical outcomes. This trial may help researchers understand the impact of reimbursement for clinical trial-related costs in addressing barriers to trial participation.
