Narazaciclib and Dexamethasone for the Treatment of Patients with Relapsed and/or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Trial Status: administratively complete

This phase I/II trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of narazaciclib alone and when given together with dexamethasone in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) and/or has not responded to previous treatment (refractory). Narazaciclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Dexamethasone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce inflammation and lower the body's immune response to help lessen the side effects of chemotherapy drugs. Giving narazaciclib may be safe, tolerable and/or effective in treating patients with relapsed and/or refractory MM.
