This clinical trial examines the feasibility and acceptability of a previously developed skills-based resilience coaching intervention, Promoting Resilience in Stress Management (PRISM) in young adults with cancer or desmoid tumor who report moderate depression and/or anxiety symptoms. PRISM is a brief, skills-based intervention targeting 4 resilience resources (stress management, cognitive reframing, goal setting, and meaning-making) that have been found to improve psychosocial outcomes. Participating in PRISM may improve resilience, distress, hope, and quality of life in young adults with cancer or desmoid tumor.
