The Role of Mitochondrial Bioenergetics in Resilience in Older Adults with Gynecologic Cancer Receiving Cancer Reductive Treatment

Trial Status: active

This study examines whether treatment with chemotherapy or surgery affects physical functioning and thinking in patients with endometrial, ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. Researchers will also assess whether the functioning of mitochondria, which are the part of cells that make energy, is related to the ability to recover after treatment.
