Sacituzumab Tirumotecan or the Treatment of SMARCB1-Deficient Locally Advanced or Metastatic Renal Medullary Cancer

Trial Status: active

This phase II trial tests the effect of sacituzumab tirumotecan in treating patients with SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary cancer that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced) or that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Sacituzumab tirumotecan is a monoclonal antibody, called sacituzumab, linked to a drug, called tirumotecan. Sacituzumab is a form of targeted therapy because it attaches to specific molecules (receptors) on the surface of cancer cells, known as TROP2 receptors, and delivers tirumotecan to kill them. Sacituzumab tirumotecan may help control locally advanced or metastatic SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary cancer that has progressed after receiving at least 1 treatment.
