Virtual Group Resilient Living Program to Improve Quality of Life in Patients Living with Advanced Cancer

Trial Status: active

This clinical trial tests the effect of a mindfulness-based intervention, Virtual Group Resilient Living Program, on anxiety, stress, and quality of life in patients with cancer that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). Patients with advanced cancer experience substantial distress and impaired quality of life. The Virtual Group Resilient Living Program provides online, guided instructional sessions on stress management and building resilience. In addition, the patient connections in a group setting provide further support and motivation. The Virtual Group Resilient Living Program may improve anxiety, stress, and overall quality of life in patients living with advanced cancer.
