Information specialists at the Cancer Information Service (CIS), NCI's contact center, are available to help answer your cancer-related questions in English and Spanish whether you are a patient, family member or friend, health care provider, or researcher. We also respond to questions and requests for information about NCI and its programs.

CIS can also help you quit smoking. The Smoking Quitline number is 1-877-44U-QUIT (1-877-448-7848). The service is available in English and Spanish, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
