April 16, 2026 - Temporal and Spatial Composition of the Tumor Microenvironment Predicts Response to Immune Checkpoint Inhibition

Dr. Noah Greenwald, an Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition (F99/K00) Awardee and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, will present his work. His research focuses on using deep mutational scanning to understand the cross talk between cancer and immune cells. 

May 21, 2026 - Effects of an Initial Anti-CD19 CAR T-cell Therapy on Subsequent Anti-CD22 CAR T-cell Manufacturing and Clinical Outcomes in Patients with Relapsed/Refractory LBCL

Dr. Matthew Frank, an NCI Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development (K08) Awardee, Physician-Scientist, and Assistant Professor at Stanford University, will discuss his research. His research group evaluates mechanisms of resistance to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies and the causes of CAR T-cell therapy-related toxicities. 

June 18, 2026 - Rewiring of cortical glucose metabolism fuels human brain cancer growth

Dr. Andrew J. Scott, an NCI Pathway to Independence (K99/R00) Awardee and Research Fellow at University of Michigan, will present his research. His main research interest focuses on improving clinical variant interpretation via a high-throughput method called deep mutational scanning to interrogate thousands of variants simultaneously.
