This study is being done to compare the side effects of minimally invasive proximal gastrectomy (MIPG) versus minimally invasive total gastrectomy (MITG) for gastric and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancers.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
I. Delineate the short-term appetite of patients who undergo minimally-invasive proximal gastrectomy (MIPG) and compare them with those of patients with gastric and gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma who undergo total gastrectomy (MITG).
OUTLINE: This is an observational study.
Patients complete questionnaires and their medical records are reviewed on study.
