The Journal of the National Medical Association recently published, "The NCI Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities: Moving Forward to Eliminate Cancer Health Disparities and Diversify the Cancer Biomedical Workforce."

The paper shares the origin and history of the NCI Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities and details the programs and networks built over the last nearly two decades to confront cancer health disparities and increase workforce diversity in cancer research.
