Continue to learn about the cutting edge of computational immuno-oncology through a partnership between NCI and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC)!

Drs. Elana Fertig and Riyue Bao will discuss:

  • computational methods to uncover tumor-immune interactions,
  • spatial molecular technologies to reveal changes in the immune landscape across tumor stages, and
  • future tumor immune states with agent-based mathematical models and high-throughput data sets to inform virtual clinical trials.

This SITC-NCI Computational Immuno-Oncology Webinar is the sixth course of eight, one-hour-long webinars designed to educate early-career scientists on computational immuno-oncology, increase participants’ awareness of and engagement in NCI-supported Cancer MoonshotSM Immunotherapy Networks, and fulfill the Blue Ribbon Panel’s goal of accelerating progress in cancer research.

Speakers

  • Elana Fertig, Ph.D. is the division director of Oncology Quantitative Sciences at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
  • Riyue Bao, Ph.D. is the co-director of Cancer Bioinformatics Services at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Hillman Cancer Center.
