During this webinar, you’ll learn how to effectively use the Proteomic Data Commons (PDC). The PDC is a secure, cloud-based repository with diverse proteomic data sets and innovative analytic tools. It is designed to advance data-driven scientific discovery.

Drs. Ratna Rajesh Thangudu and Bing Zhang will present an overview of the PDC, including:

  • the data available within the repository.
  • its access methods.
  • analysis tools.
  • visualization options.
  • submission processes.

Not only will you get an overview of the PDC, but you’ll also discover its practical applications. For instance, Drs. Thangudu and Zhang will demonstrate the integration of proteomic data from the PDC with various other omics data sets accessible within NCI’s Cancer Research Data Commons. These examples will highlight how integrated data can yield new biological and clinical insights.

The Data Science Seminar Series presents talks from innovators in the cancer research and informatics communities both within and outside of NCI.
